The type of information we collect

We try to only collect information necessary to provide our service. We currently collect and process the following personal information:

  • Personal Identifiers, such as email and preferred name.
  • Billing details for premium accounts, retained by our payment providers, depending on how you pay.
  • Diagnostic information, such as your IP address.
  • Account Activity, such as logs of some actions performed on our systems for diagnostic and support purposes.
  • Service Data, to provide the service you're using. This will include (but is not limited to) screenshots of test runs, test configuration, api keys, test scheduling and team configuration.
  • System Data, to provide the on-premise test execution service. This will include (but is not limited to) CPU Architecture, OS hostname, OS platform, and total memory available.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process you will provide to us directly during sign up, or as part of an account update that you initiate.

We can also receive personal information indirectly, for example if another user invites you to the service, or as part of our service's operation as directed by yourself or another user.

We use this information to:

  • Provide you with our services.
  • Send you notifications of events that occur through our services.
  • Provide you with customer support
  • Conduct analytics to understand how our services are used.
  • Comply with our legal obligations
  • Improve the safety and reliability of our services.

How is it secured

Most of your personal information is stored electronically in Amazon AWS Data Centers. We implement and maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures, policies and procedures designed to reduce the risk of accidental destruction or loss, misuse or interference or the unauthorised disclosure, access or modification to such information appropriate to the nature of the information concerned.

Measures we take include:

  • Placing confidentiality requirements and restricted access protocols on our staff members and service providers who need access to your information in order to process it to provide our services to you.
  • Destroying your personal information if it is no longer needed to provide you with our service.
  • Destroying logging or other transactional information that may incidentally contain personal information in accordance with our retention schedules.
  • Following strict security procedures in the access, storage and disclosure of your personal information to prevent unauthorised access to it.
  • Using secure communication transmission software (known as "secure sockets layer" or "SSL") that encrypts all information you input on our site before it is sent to us. SSL is an industry standard encryption protocol and this ensure that the information is reasonably protected against unauthorised interception.

Cookies

When you access our site, or use our services, we may collect information regarding your IP address for the purpose of administering the site and tracing site usage.

We may also use "cookies" and your personal information to enhance your experience on the site. A cookie is a small data file placed on your computer's hard drive that contains information that allows us to track your activity on the site. The cookie itself does not contain any personal information; however, if you provide us with any personal information the cookie may act as an identifier to tie your personal information to your IP address or computer. You may choose to delete cookies from your computer's hard drive at any time or to disable cookies on your computer. If you delete cookies that relate to the site, we may not be able to identify you upon your return to the site. Additionally, if you disable your computer's cookies, you may not be able to access certain features of the site that require that cookies be enabled.
